Of tough and bough and cough and dough.
Others may stumble, but not you,
On hiccough, thorough, laugh and through.
Well done! And now you wish, perhaps,
To learn of less familiar traps.
Beware of heard, a dreadful word,
That looks like beard and sounds like bird.
And dead - it’s said like bed, not bead,
For goodness’ sake, don’t call it ‘deed’!
Watch out for meat and great and threat,
(They rhyme with suite and straight and debt).
A moth is not a moth in mother,
Nor both in bother, broth in brother.
And here is not a match for there,
Nor dear and fear for bear and pear.
And then there’s dose and rose and lose –
Just look them up – and goose and choose.
And cork and work and card and ward,
And font and front and word and sword.
And do and go and thwart and cart –
Come, come, I’ve hardly made a start!
A dreadful language? Why man alive!

My attempt at being pensive
Absent
I haven’t posted in a while. Life’s been busy, but I was looking back through here and realized most of the photos of me look sad, so here’s a recent one with me being happy. And I am happy.
For the record
Just because I’m a guy doesn’t mean I don’t like to be reminded I’m loved on Valentine’s Day, that you care enough to write me a note or give me some token of your love.
Advice
- Sis: Just don't make a rash decision. Do what you think is right and follow your heart, but think it through.
- Me: So follow my heart and my brain??
- Me: They typically dont agree.
I change the facial hair up from time to time.
The Story of Stuff
Watch this 20-minute video about consumerism when you have a chance.
If nothing else, you might question why you think you need to buy new things when the opportunity arises. At worst, you could save some money.
Come on. It’s Sunday. We both know you have 20 spare minutes. And don’t just play the video in a tab somewhere while browsing the internet and chatting: actually watch the video.
